Meeting in May 2003

n three weeks after the previous contest the second meeting of owners BMW E24 took place. It took place again on Vorobyevy Gory, opposite to a building of the Moscow State University and again collected this time only three cars.

The 635 CSi with an automatic gearbox is owned by Denis. This one is, perhaps, the best car showed here. No rust, perfect chrome trims, clean engine bay.

Color refers to Bahamabeige #170. The front breaks upgraded to 750s, rear one are the set from M5. Also, the zero-resistance filter has been installed. But I guess it was made for a visual effect only.

A dark blue car with a lot of “M6” badges actually is 628 CSi with upgraded 3-liter engine M30. I don't know exactly which year of production it is, but it is definitely produced after 1982. Four exhaust pipes are fake. Two additional are simply welded. By backlashes it is visible, that it has been slightly struck in the right front corner. But in any case, its body is strong enough and quite viable. I have not determined its exact color, but it is strongly similar to Arktisblau #045.

Being cold on wet spring air, our small company consisted of Jet Lizard on E36, Tatiana_e30, Millionare and two guys on E21, moved to the next meeting of BMW-club Auto.Ru in Krylatskoe.

We found out there, that the meeting was cancelled and we gone back home.

They are very nice guys — Yura, Tatiana and others. I hope we'll meet again as soon as possible.
